The Story Behind the Coffee

The farm is home to Café Marquesina, a specialty coffee brand created by Antonio Durango after years of studying and perfecting the art of coffee production.

Every stage takes place on the farm itself: planting, harvesting, sorting, depulping, fermentation, drying, milling, roasting, and packaging.

Some coffee trees require up to three years before producing the beans that eventually become a single cup of coffee.

Today, visitors from all over the world help carry Café Marquesina beyond Colombia’s borders, sharing its story one bag of coffee at a time.
