Valentina Zuluaga is a professional Latin dancer with more than 20 years of experience. Co-founder of the acclaimed Bumaye Dance Company and the internationally recognized partnership Johan & Valentina, she specializes in salsa and bachata performance, coaching, and artistic excellence. She has represented Colombia across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, inspiring dancers through passion, precision, and world-class experience.
Biography
Valentina Zuluaga is a professional Latin dancer with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to the art of dance. Throughout her career, she has specialized in Latin dance styles, earning recognition for her exceptional technique, stage presence, versatility, and artistic expression. Her passion, discipline, and commitment have made her one of Medellín's most respected dance professionals and an international ambassador of Colombian dance culture.
She is one of the founding members of the renowned Bumaye Dance Company, a team that achieved numerous national and world championship titles in both salsa and bachata. She is also the co-creator of the internationally recognized dance brand Johan & Valentina, through which she has performed, taught, and inspired dancers around the world.
Over the years, Valentina has proudly represented Colombia on some of the world's most prestigious stages, performing and teaching in countries across Mexico, Peru, Panama, the United States, Europe, Dubai, Asia, South Africa, and many other international destinations. Her career has been built on sharing the richness of Latin dance while promoting excellence, professionalism, and cultural connection.
